Painting with Katinka is fun, always a creative experience. Doing a Paint Camp with her is even better… a relaxing time in nature doing art! The food is also very good, by the way.

UPDATE 2026-
I started painting during the pandemic to help me cope with the stress that the lockdown was causing. Because of insecurity and self-doubt, I shared my art with very few people. But have you ever met someone, and you knew you were going to be better because you had known them? That's what happened for me at Boundless Creativity Art Camp. I met amazing, fun, and friendly people, creatives like me that are encouraging and helpful. With their help and guidance, I have bettered my skills and techniques and learned new ones. Sharing with them enabled me to feel more secure in my ‘artist's skin’. I can even refer to myself as an artist now without feeling ridiculous. What Boundless Creativity Art Camp did for me was to help me change my story and helped me find a better version of who I am meant to be. My art story has made a complete 180° turn.

2026 review
"I just attended my second art camp, Summer 2025. I learned things like color value, and not overworking a piece, what is fauvism, and about composition. I did a paint pour which turned out INCREDIBLE. I also did a crystal wire wrapping I'm pretty proud of. There was amazingly delicious food. I enjoyed conversation with wonderfully diverse people. I felt I had found a group of art teachers and art students of varying skill levels that I could learn with and from that would not judge me for my lack of ability. I believe I have found my tribe.
My skills have improved so much that sometimes I don't recognize my own work. A fellow student laughed when they heard me say, “Oh, I painted that!” haha Then there was the ultimate compliment, someone thought my painting was actually the teacher's.

"Painting camp with Katinka has truly been a life-changing experience in the most positive way for me. I'm a professional artist, but I still learned a lot about photo study, underpainting, and appreciation for master artworks from Katinka. She is able to teach everyone of all levels in the same setting, and the environment she creates at camp is so welcoming that it isn't intimidating at all to share no matter one's own skill level.
Beyond the art lessons, camp has created such an invaluable community and a much needed break from the screens, advertisements, and stress of daily life. Every time I've gone to paint camp, Katinka's team has ensured that nobody went without a sleeping bag or tent, and everyone's food and every dietary need was accounted for (from gluten-free options to allergen-friendly menus). More than just learning, camp has been a place of love and comfort, and always is an unforgettable 3 days.
Even with the large price point, every day is worth it-- your food is covered, all art materials are covered, and the pricing covers at least 5 separate art activities that are always thoughtfully crafted. Katinka has invited many skilled artists to teach too, so it's more than just painting-- we've done plein air, wire wrapping with rocks, paint pouring, and even more. There is no shortage of things to do at camp, and there is no shortage of beautiful things to see as well. It's worth every penny!"

“Boundless creativity art camp is a perfect artistic retreat, filled with good food, good hearts, and lots of joy. Everyone works to do their part and help, but it’s easy to choose what to do and lots of enriching project options, with some new and returning guest instructors making each camp different. Even as an unathletic person, I went on an 4 mile hike at camp, and my fellow campers never left me behind. Every person who comes to camp, new and old, always brings something new to camp by just being present. This camp is the place to make art, make friends, and make good memories.” - Amanda Le, returning camper for 4+ years (2026 review)

"By attending Art Camp left-brained me (analytical & logical) gets to interact with a group of delightful right-brained (creative & intuitive) people. I have even been so bold as to participate in some of the art projects. The art that I do gets me out of my comfort zone which is a good thing.
To be transparent I should mention that the love of my life is an artist. It is my observation that Art camp has facilitated her growth as an artist.
I also want to note that art camp attracts an amazing group of people who are fun to be around."

I have so much praise for the Boundless Creativity Art Camp. Four days in the mountains, woods and nature. All surrounded in art and the most fabulous campers. A huge variety of different workshops. Did I mention the food was like being at a five-star resort?
She has another camp in October. Check it out!
The amazing Katinka Clementsmith taught a Portrait Workshop at camp.
This was my attempt at Paula. I thought I captured a relatively successful likeness, for a first attempt.

“Katinka’s art camp was superior in every way, from the mixed variety of art, the beautiful coordination of the campsite and the wonderful gourmet meals from Chef Traci. “

Katinka’s art camp was one of the most meaningful and creatively restorative experiences I’ve had in years. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and wonderfully unpretentious — full of curiosity, experimentation, and genuine connection. I left with new artwork, new friendships, and a renewed sense of creative energy. Katinka has a rare gift for creating spaces where people feel safe to explore, play, and surprise themselves. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience and would return in a heartbeat. In fact, I’m returning in October!

Tink's art camp is one of the most welcoming and inclusive experiences I have ever had the joy of participating in! The activities are both educational and fun, and they really help to challenge you and help you grow as an artist no matter your current level of expertise. On top of that the food is incredible (and inclusive to those with food allergies or sensitivities)! Would absolutely recommend this art camp to anyone looking to infuse more creativity and community into their life.
